Who are we?

We are a creative collective based in Brighton (UK) aimed at supporting, including and uplift creative people who identify as women or non-binary in the area.

Our collective started up in 2024 because Tyra and Jessica noticed a tendency of a very male dominated music and art scene in Brighton, and that it was difficult to navigate and book gigs, especially as a new female solo artist. Therefore, they decided to start organizing non profit gigs, with all of the acts on the lineup being female or non binary led. Almost all of our gigs have sold out, and we have since created a zine consisting of solemnly female and non binary artists and creatives, started a Substack page for creative writing, and created a monthly radio show for Platform B radio.

We have now also expanded our team, with both journalists, graphic designers, photographers and artists participating in creating a safe and inspiring community.

Our collective is completely non-profit, and all the money we make from ticket sales, zines and merch gets donated directly to Women for Women International, a world-wide organization investing in women survivors of war and conflict, connecting them with each other and supporting them to rebuild their lives.

We believe that women need to lift each other up to reach their full potential!
